Need strength? Draw upon the Living Water

“Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water,” (John 4:10).

We are living in evil times, and life in general can be exhausting. More than ever, I find myself praying and standing on the Word of God where He promises to be our Living Water.

Through reading the Word and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to me as I do, I believe that “Well” must be drawn upon BY FAITH and by praying in the Spirit (tongues, prayer language whichever you prefer to call it).

I’m deeply moved by the woman at the well and her encounter with Jesus, her awaited Savior. Truly, He has been Living Water that has kept me in a world filled with trouble and tribulation (and my encounters with not so nice human beings).

Let’s get to the best part of my posts, the Word who is Jesus (John 1:1)…

Romans 8:11 says, “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

Need to draw upon this well? By faith, thank Him right now for the Living Water that dwells in you to flow to every cell and fiber of your being to give strength to your mortal body.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh. So beautiful, Lord, Your Holy Spirit is that Well of Living Water You’ve gifted Your sons and daughter with.

Don’t know if you’re a son or daughter of God the Father? Check out this post.

Isaiah 58:11 says, “The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul [mind, will, emotions, conscience] in drought, and strengthen your bones [your physical body all the way through]; You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”

[My emphasis in brackets] Isaiah, the prophet prophesying of the Living Water that was to come and has come and is available to those who believe.

“And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes,” (Ezekiel 47:9).

“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water,” (John 7:38)

This Living Water IN us can bring healing TO us and our mortal bodies and to those around us. Only believe!

And check out this treasure…

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you COMPLETELY; and may your WHOLE spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

Wow, Lord! Because of the Living Water of Your Holy Spirit, we can be COMPLETELY sanctified – our whole body, soul, and spirit. Your Living Water indeed can touch and heal our physical bodies (Romans 8:11, etc.)

How awesome is God! His Holy Spirit is the best Teacher ever, bringing the Word together FOR US as we diligently seek Him in His Word and in prayer.

And guess what, child of God? His Living Water isn’t intended to strengthen you alone. You are called by God to bring His Living Water to others around you.

Because of this post the Lord reminded me of another beautiful one He gave me called, “Carriers Of The Kingdom of God (Boy Do His Children Complicate What He Made Simple)”

Here’s a short excerpt from it…

“As carriers of the Kingdom of God wherever we go, His rivers of living water also go. And what did He say happens when the kingdom of God, inside us, is near? People are healed and set free.

And wherever we, “the rivers,” go and do what we are called to do, there will be a “great multitude of fish.” Those we’ve caught for the kingdom of God.”
