February 9, 2021 prophetic dream I had about an earthquake that causes holes, damage, and peeling off of layers to our “walls”

In the dream, a general “we” knew an earthquake was coming, in the sense and understanding of it being like a storm was coming.
And when it came, it only damaged the walls of homes and buildings. I just knew in my dream that the same thing happened to all the structures because of the earthquake, and I did ask someone else and it was the same for them. Just the walls were damaged. It put holes in our walls. Or peeled layers off the inside of our walls. Peeling them like onion layers.
In my home in the dream, that looked more like a place I used to live, the earthquake caused holes, not like round wholes, but more like cracks in the corners that could easily let things in. Unprotected from the outdoor elements. Like 1 foot holes and cracks here and there especially where ceiling met wall.
I also had a sense in the dream that the earthquake already happened, and it’s not something to come based on what happens later in the dream.
Earthquakes represent shaking, revival/eve of revival, voice of God, judgment, visitation by God (per The Divinity Code to Understanding Dreams and Visions book).
I believe the damaged walls in the dream represent “missing protection” – it’s time for each of us in the church to see if we have anywhere we’ve given place to the devil allowing for this loss of protection.
I also believe it applies to the church. Because much of the church has been like the world, lukewarm, compromised, it has given much place to the devil, leaving us unprotected in many places – we’ve got “holes, cracks, and damage to our walls” of compromise where we’ve allowed the enemy to gain access to the church through.
Unprotected also by prayerlessness in some areas. Possibly not being more aggressive in spiritual warfare.
I have the book, The Divinity Code to Understanding Your Dreams and Visions, and this is what it says about walls and falling walls (technically in my dream, the walls hadn’t fallen all the way down but were merely very damaged which I believe is a VERY good sign):
- Wall/s: protection, strength, security, boundary, defensive fortification, place from which words launched, hiding, hidden, salvation. There are also several scriptures referenced for this which I will read in the audio version.
- Wall/s (Falling down or fallen wall): judgment, loss of protection, Spiritually unguarded, vulnerable, spiritually lazy, spiritually undisciplined. There are also several scriptures listed for this which I will read in the audio version.
Then inside my home, the earthquake caused the INSIDE walls to begin to peel off and even unsafe, like I felt afraid to go near the walls because it looked like any moment another piece or layer would peel down or slip down and fall on me. However, they weren’t crumbling down but peeling.
We’ve given MUCH place to the enemy to the church. He’s inside and having his way, and we need to kick him out. There’s so much damage and division within the church. And REALLY bad doctrine that compromises the Word and creates confusion with us and the watching world.
Then, I saw my son and he was much younger in the dream. In the dream like immediately after our home was damaged, my ex sent a lawyer over to have the integrity of our home inspected. In the dream, I knew it was to try to paint our home as unsafe, needing to be condemned, and unfit, and to spew accusations at me. Even to force us out of our home.
I believe this represents the “violence” and intensity of which the enemy and the powers of darkness are after God’s people right now and in this season. The Lord delivered me from my ex-husband many years ago because of abuse. So, he represents terror, oppression, and the very aggressive and violent nature of the current attacks the church is under.
I’ve been going through a lot of spiritual warfare lately as we wage not against flesh and blood. Also that the enemy roams about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Felt led to say: Let’s not glaze over the word devour. It means to utterly destroy and consume until its prey is no more.
It also represents the reminder that we must continually pray and pray with others and for others to pray walls of protection around us, our loved ones, the church.
Notice how in the dream the enemy came immediately when we were vulnerable to attack us aggressively? The devil always comes to try to kick us when we are down. Be sober and vigilant the Word says, have eyes to see, so this doesn’t happen.
Ephesians 6:18 says, “Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication… making supplication for all the saints”.
Also, we must stay on the prayer wall. “On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent; You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves.” Isaiah 62:6
Church, we must pray like we’ve never prayed before and become the “house of prayer” we are called to as the Word says. Find faithful prayer warriors to pray with you and you with them to keep your spiritual walls of protection fortified and on fire by the Holy Spirit, so the enemy cannot penetrate them.
So, then all of a sudden there were several people that were just in my home quickly – emphasis on quickly – helping me make repairs to my home, its walls, ruins, etc. They were not dressed in construction clothes or uniforms. They were regular people, men and women, there to help me repair my walls and fix every place that had been damaged.
Oh, and before they showed up I was just covering the holes in my walls with sheets which makes no sense because it’s not real protection. I also just knew that I didn’t have to wait long for the help to come. Help came quickly.
What was odd was before there wasn’t a staircase in my home nor a second floor, but then suddenly there was and they were repairing it and making it beautiful as well.
I’m not sure what it meant that I used sheets to cover the crack and holes, but maybe that was the best I could do alone and that a job like that required the church to help.
Also, VERY IMPORTANT: Because the dream didn’t end with everything left damaged or in ruins but instead rebuilt with the help of the saints, I believe that’s why the earthquake that shook and brought all the wall damage and protection loss has already happened to the church and the American church spiritually.
But now, more and more of us are waking up and have been “repairing” and “rebuilding” and will continue to do so. I also sensed the help came right on time before something bad could happen.
This dream wasn’t one of doom and gloom but of great hope!
In that same dream interpretation book, I looked up stairs and it says see steps:
- Steps (going up): stairway to heaven/God, Jesus Christ, established by God, discipleship (effort required), growing in the Spirit, praise, going from faith to faith/glory to glory, a church. There are several scripture references for this one as well which I will read in the audio version of this post.
These verses came to mind so adding them here…
Isaiah 61:4 – “And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.”
Isaiah 58:12 – “Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”
The Lord is calling His church, the army of the Living God, to unite and help one another repair and rebuild the ruins of each other’s lives through prayer, intercession, and practical help both personally and as a nation. Putting faith into action. Not bowing to tyranny AKA Baal.
We can’t overcome the level of evil we are dealing with isolated, alone, and cut off from one another. No wonder the enemy used the wicked to use COVID to separate us from each other, so our “walls” would be weakened, damaged, and peel away one layer at a time. Like the enemy taking ground from us little by little.
No, we MUST be a people who come TOGETHER in prayer and praying walls of protection around us, ours, and all of the saints. And in worship unto the Lord corporately for that special anointing that falls on two or more gathered.
The Lord is saying it is NOT over for the church and the American church and America in general. We merely have damage to our walls. But they have NOT fallen all the way down. Praise the Lord! We are not YET totally exposed. They are still repairable, but we MUST work together.
The gates of hell will not prevail against the church. Hallelujah!
AND, we must quickly and prayerfully begin to repair and rebuild the ruins we’ve allowed by giving place to the devil in the church in many ways and for many years.
We must each clean house as in our hearts, purging ourselves of anything that is not of the Lord. Through repentance. And have been but more needed.
We need each other. We need to cover each other in prayer. None of us can do fight this spiritual battle alone and are not intended to.
Also, notice how my dream home was repaired better than before. It had a new staircase that led to a second floor that wasn’t there before. And remember, steps represent Jesus Christ and moving TOWARDS God, NOT away from Him. When I saw the Christian dream book interpretation for steps, I cried. That’s what the church is doing now. Revival has begun. Glory to God!
Finally, when I have a God dream, the Lord often opens it up to me more over time by bringing words to me from other believers. Or I’ll hear something from the Lord by the Spirit and go, “Wow! Aha! Amazing, Lord!”

Added 2/12/21 at 11:30PM. At 11:20 this evening I heard this on Faith Unveiled Network from an episode that just aired a couple hours ago, so three days after the Lord gave me this dream, “There may be holes trying to be driven into the wall of faith that we stand on. But it’s up to us to grab those holes and bring them together and mend those holes.”
Added 2/28/21 from reading it in the Word, Ezra 4:16, “We inform the king that if this city (of Jerusalem) is rebuilt and its walls are completed, the result will be that you will have no dominion beyond the River.”
Walls represent protecting our territory, the church body, from the enemy having any dominion there. Thus, if our walls are repaired and whole, we are the only ones who have dominion.
Added 3/6/2021 from seeing in on a Flashpoint episode, Ezra 9:9, “For we were slaves. Yet our God did not forsake us in our bondage; but He extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to revive us, to repair the house of our God, to rebuild its ruins, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.
