I’m Beginning to Loathe the Words, “Prominent Christian” and “Prominent Evangelical”: A Ponderings as of Late Post

I had a chat with the Lord before writing this, checking in with Him to ask, “Am I being religious or legalistic in my train of thought?” And I went through my thoughts with the Lord to see if where I’m going with this is Pharisaical, and I do not believe so. Take close notice that I am hating terms not people. Or hating evil deeds. Not people.

Lord, what has me so perturbed, angry even, by this cluster of mere words?

It’s what I have seen lately being exposed in the church with the election fraud. As of late, when the words, “prominent Christian” leader or “prominent evangelical,” are used, they are often followed by how another one of them is deceiving God’s people and leading them astray with the lost world watching on.

I don’t like the idea in the church of anyone being considered “prominent.” There is only ONE head of the church, and it is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.

I feel so strongly that when believers who don’t know the Word for themselves and are not led by the Holy Spirit hear “prominent” attached to fallible men or women, it can trick them into taking whatever THEY say as “gospel” instead God’s one and only truth – His Word.

It is the responsibility of every church leader to point people to the Word and to their knees in prayer to God, the only true source of wisdom.

How are these so called prominent church leaders leading people astray?

Let’s allow the Word to tell us. Not man and his opinions, possibly under the influence of satanic mind blindness via spirits of religion, etc.

Well, with the plain as the noonday sun election fraud, obvious corruption, and tyranny affecting every level of government, are we called to bow to it or expose it? Lord God, what say You?

“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them,” (Eph 5:11).

Father, are we to pretend these crimes against our nation and president don’t exist and get into agreement with darkness and lawlessness, literal works of the devil in the land?

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord (agreement) has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?,” (2 Cor 6:14-15).

So for these so called prominent ones to congratulate Biden, Jezebel’s puppet, as president elect when it’s crystal clear how he and his wicked crew ATTEMPTED to obtain that title is to oppose the very Word of God they supposedly teach and follow.

And even worse, the devil uses them lead those who “follow” them to and onto the wide path of destruction (Matt 7): to oppose God and get into agreement with lawlessness and works of the devil.

How can they not see this before they open their prominent mouths?

I know. I know. I got sarcastic there. I can’t help it right now. I’m so frustrated, hurt for the Lord even, with how His very own betray Him and lead His astray. Right into darkness and into agreement with anti-Christ agendas. Can you see it too? I pray so.

What if Esther stayed silent when she knew the truth?

She and the Jews would have been annihilated.

Well, we know the truth. Voter fraud, corruption, and interference by big tech censorship to steal the election.

What are believers to do when we KNOW that these wicked deeds were done? Get into agreement with darkness. Never!

And what if Esther was too afraid to break the law and go before the king unannounced? Praise God she wasn’t!

“Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” (Esther 4:16).

Esther did what was right in the eyes of the Lord which resulted in TOTAL EXPOSURE of the works of the devil through Haman and justice. And the Jews were able to destroy their enemies.

Shouldn’t every believer and church leader also want total exposure, justice with a fair and legal election, and justice for the wicked for their crimes, calling what is wicked, wicked? Father?

“Whoever says to the wicked, “You are innocent,”
will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations;
but those who rebuke the wicked will have delight,
and a good blessing will come upon them,” (Proverbs 24:24-25).

I know I do, and that desire comes from the Lord because it’s His Word and will – for the works of the devil to be destroyed. God loves justice. He lives in me and leads me, therefore, I love justice. And I refuse to get into agreement with darkness and lawlessness or any of my brothers and sisters in Christ staying silent in the face of it, who are apathetic about it, or even worse who promote it and congratulate it.

Truly, the Lord is using these elections to bring exposure in the church as well, so His people can choose life or death. Should we continue to allow deceived teachers influenced by the enemy to lead us or go to where there is His light and truth? What does Your Word say, Lord?

“For there must also be factions (divisions) among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you,” (1 Cor 11:19).

Wow, Lord! There must be divisions among us for the purpose of exposure of those who ARE approved by You and those who are NOT.

The same verse in the NLT version:

“But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that you who have God’s approval will be recognized!” (1 Cor 11:19).

Prayer

Lord, shake the church awake! Your people are called to defy evil and lawlessness. Not agree with it. Your Word is clear. Stop listening to prominent ones being influenced by deceiving spirits as they are clearly opposing the Word. Lord, help Your people to not be led astray from Your Word and into agreement with darkness. Keep us from being “do nothing” believers in the face of wickedness, tyranny, theft, and evil agendas intended for us. We are not called to turn a blind eyes to lawlessness. Keep us from deception.

Put a fire in Your people, a holy boldness that refuses to bow to or agree with evil. Your people perish for lack of knowledge. Move on this nation to know what the constitution says through and through and teach it to our children. Starting with us remembering that elected officials are PUBLIC SERVANTS who answer to us. WE THE PEOPLE are the ones in charge. Not them. That’s the law. If there’s a law the church should submit to, there we go. Thank You, Lord. Your people are waking up more and more. Praise You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It’s time God’s people push back darkness, overturn tables, get into agreement with His Light and righteousness and reestablish order in the land as established by the laws in the constitution – one nation under God.

By the way, I love looking up words and makes more sense why I loathe this word in conjunction with believers. Well, at least for me.

prominent [ˈprämənənt] ADJECTIVE – important; famous; projecting from something; protuberant; protruding; jutting out; bulbous; situated so as to catch the attention; noticeable; In some cases also means: eye-catching; dominant.

No one person in the body is more important or prominent than the other. The blood of Jesus is our ultimate equalizer. Jesus Christ alone is the head. We are the body called to work together as one in all our gifts and callings and ALWAYS point each other to Christ, the Word and what He says for truth and wisdom on all matters. Not to ourselves.

Remember Whose you are and who you are…

“You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness,” (1 Thess 5:5).

P.S. I know not all well-known church leaders have sold out, but sadly the ones who do seem to get most of the attention.
