Jesus purchased your “deserve” for healing from sickness

“And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God,” (Luke 13:11-13).

Two-thousand years after the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His establishment of a new and better covenanat based on new and better promises, the devil is still using the same demonic spirits who influenced the Pharisees to use church leaders and our brothers and sisters in Christ to attack and speak against healing and deliverance from sickness and spirits of infirmity. And to deny the power of the Holy Spirit.

It continues to boggle my mind to hear how many would rather preach the captivity of satan to sickness rather than the One who came to heal us. The One who is named Healer, Redeemer, Deliverer, Resurrection, and Life. The One who gave body to to be broken, striped, and put to death then raised again to redeem us from sin and all its effects (the curse of the law), including physical and spiritual sicknesses.

Recently, I heard another church leader preaching in favor of the devil’s sicknesses. He mockingly said something sarcastic about “Oh and those Christians who think they ‘DESERVE’ healing.” I turned it off of course because I am for those who preach and cherish everything Jesus paid for His children to have under a far superior covenant than the old covenant. For those who cherish the power of His name and blood.

I brought the idea before the Lord, and He said, “Jesus purchased your ‘deserve’ for healing.”

Of course, literally NO ONE, in their own righteousness deserves anything from the Lord, but glory to God, when we were born again, we IMMEDIATELY spiritually became a PART OF Christ’s very body and IMMEDIATELY indwelt by His Holy Spirit.

In Him, we are the very righteousness of God! The VERY righteousness of God, clothed in Christ’s perfection, forever, without end, no matter what we do or don’t do. We are SEALED by His blood in a permanent covenant relationship with Him.

So based on our pefect righstanding with God the Father IN Jesus Christ, we can say we DESERVE healing because He purchased the deserve for us.

This truth is simply recognition of my covenant rights in Christ Jesus. What His blood bought for me. Glory to the Lamb of God! Glory to my Abba Father who freely have His Son for me and will freely give me all good things.

Check out the outragoeusly bold prayers and declarations of David when he was up against Goliath and king Abijah when he was up against king Jeroboam.

These are two men who boldy declared victory over their enemies before God and Israel BEFORE their battles even began.

Why? Because they had covenant grounds to do so.

This is exactly why EVERY child of God can by faith declare victory over all sickness and disease and every work of the devil coming against their bodies! And expect total healing. We have the covenant grounds to do so. By Jesus’ stripes, we were healed. He sent His Word Jesus and healed us and delivered us from our destructions and on and on.

Did you recall that the old covenant law is called the ministry of death and condemnation? And that the new covenant is called the ministry of righteousness?

“But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels. For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious,” (2 Cor 3:7-11).

I suggest reading all of 2 Corinthians 3. It’s excellent and lifegiving and sets free! Though the old covenant was considered glorious, the new covenant exceeds MUCH MORE in glory!

Child of God, we are no longer under the ministry of death and condemnation but under the new covenant ministry of righteousness paid for in full by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, full of new and better promises AND authority over ALL the power of the enemy.

Do not allow anyone to preach sickness to you as a blessing! All sickness is a work of the devil. God is not for the works of the devil or anything that was birthed into the earth because of sin. The devil is a liar!

Sickness is satanic captivity. Jesus came to set the captives free. (Acts 10:38) Hallelujah!

“But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises,” (Hebrews 8:6).

“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil,” (1 John 3:8).

Bible Study and Teaching, Happy Mother's Day

Behold your mother (and the long life of the apostle John)

Image source: The Passion of the Christ

I was reading in John recently and these verses came together and made me wonder if there was a connection between the apostle John honoring Jesus’ “mother” and <a href="http://&lt;!– wp:paragraph –> <p><a href="; target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a>I was reading in John recently and these verses came together and made me wonder if there was a connection between the apostle John honoring Jesus' "mother" and his long life in comparison to the other orginal apostles…</p> his long life in comparison to the other orginal apostles

  • “When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home,” (John 19:27-28).
  • “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth,” (Ephesians 6:1-3).

Jesus saw John’s heart and handpicked him to become His mother’s son and Mary his mother. And what a beautiful tribute to her that it was the last thing He took care of on the cross before His death: His mother.

But glory to God, He rose again to life, so we could too if we choose!

Then we read in John 21…

“Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?” Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, “But Lord, what about this man?”

Jesus said to him, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.”

Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?” (John 21:20-23).

Something, we’ll find out why John outlived them (possible to age 98) when we see Jesus face to face but also a reminder to honor our mothers and fathers not only because we should but that it comes with a promise that we may live long on the earth.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Bible Study and Teaching, The Word Speaks

Counting on the wealthy, comfortable, and those prospering in their wicked ways to repent? 2 Chronicles 22

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God,” (Matthew 19:23-25).

We of course don’t create and entire manmade doctrine based on Matthew 19:23-35 that all rich men and women will never enter the kingdom of God but that Jesus Himself says it’s hard for them to.

The words of Jesus, “But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation,” (Luke 6:24).

Last night I read 2 Chronicles 22, and the Lord always speaks to me or teaches me and shows me something as I read the Word, often related to the times and seasons or something in my life. This time, He reminded me of the level of the wickedness of people today.

In the times of Noah the Lord had this to say in Genesis 6:5, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Dear Lord, EVERY. ONLY EVIL CONTINUALLY.

Then in Matthew 24:37, “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” We are in this season.

That’s why, yes, I pray for our leaders to repent, but I am not gambling our children and our children’s children on them doing so.

That would be beyond foolish. No, I’m allowing the Holy Spirit to lead my prayers regarding the wicked in power, and my urgency in prayer lies in protection and deliverance from them and for GREAT justice to come to them.

I believe we are in the last of the last days, but for the Lord, that could mean another decade or two even more. I don’t know. For hundreds of years at least, men and women have believed that Christ would catch them up in the clouds.

This is why we must always occupy until He comes. Not assume His coming is tomorrow, but share His gospel truth as if it is at the same time. AND expose evil, speak His truth, pray for and do justice in the earth using the laws the Lord saw fit to bless us with the constitution that gives us the right to demand the constitution be followed through our states – each intended to be like smaller sovereign nations UNITED or in Union to form a larger country. Absolutely incredible. The genius of it could have only been inspired by God.

See the great blessing in that being of the Lord and don’t take it for granted God’s people. No Christian schools, you don’t bow to laws that say boys get to shower in the girls’ locker room with your daughters and hijack their sports teams just because they say they are “female.” You absolutely disobey those laws, unite, and fight back using the blessed laws of the constitution. It’s the Federal government who is in rebellion by forsaking the law of the land – the constitution – and is trying to deny us freedom of religion.

If any Christian can’t see how the Lord went before us with the constitution of the United States to make a way for us to preach the gospel within and from our shores and fight for our right to do so, then you’re still asleep, and we are praying for you. Wow, a constitution which was birthed through the prayer and fasting of our founding American families, many who were also saints in Christ.

But, I praise God, He always keeps a remnant who will not bow to Baal. Thank You, Father.

I like to talk and think aloud with the Lord as I read His Word and write notes. This time I recorded it. Thinking aloud and talking with the Lord as I read 2 Chron 22.

I think I’ll entitle it: “WATCH OUT for Grandma Athaliah, comfortable in her wealth, position, and lust for power.”

(It’s a little rambly and unedited – LOL – and Jesus help me with those name pronunciations).
