God Has NO Communion with Darkness, No Agreement with the devil (excerpt from my book)

From 2 Corinthians 6:14-16, we know that the Lord has no fellowship with lawlessness, no communion with darkness, and no agreement with the devil. Nor can He be tempted by anyone, including by that evil one.

“Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone,” (James 1:3).

In other words, our Good Heavenly Father is not tag team partners with the devil and his evil cohort of fallen angels. They are not in a dysfunctional relationship working together to abuse His sons and daughters to teach them lessons.

Satan is in rebellion against God, and He defines rebellion as witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23). He is not in partnership with the originator of sin, rebellion, and witchcraft.

–from The Infamously Prickly Thorn in the Flesh by D.L. McClaskie

When Paul said, “a messenger of Satan” in regard to the thorn, he didn’t intend for us to translate the devil into meaning God our Heavenly Father who gave His Son for us and came in the flesh to DESTROY the works of the devil!

“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil,” (1 John 3:8).

Jesus’ VERY PURPOSE for coming in the flesh was to destroy the works of the devil! Hallelujah!
