Deeply Moved by the Asbury Revival: Keep praying into it, God’s people!

Let us continue to pray into this that it spreads all over this nation and the nations to our youth and beyond that this spirit of death that has come against them and us be cast down, bound, and destroyed.

God is not willing that any should perish!

May the spirit of the fear of the Lord blanket this nation and the nations. He is not finished with the people of America or any nation. We need only turn to Him and utter a teeny tiny peep crying out the name of Jesus and He is ready to turn things around, even the things we’ve so stupidly caused.

I believe there will be a GREAT harvest before the rapture that will include many signs, wonders, healings, deliverances that will lead to even more salvations, etc.

“For He does NOT afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men.” – Lamentations 3:33.

It’s always His will, heart, and preference to heal, redeem, and restore. Hallelujah!

  1. The Word of God does not predict a great end time ‘revival’ but rather the very opposite; increasing evil, times of peril, false teachings, false prophets and deceptive signs and wonders.

Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3.

The Greek word translated “rebellion” or “falling away” in verse 3 is apostasia, from which we get the English word apostasy. It refers to a general defection from the one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob the Living Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Bible, and the Christian faith.

    1. Thank you for your comment. I am aware of the mentioned Thess. verses but never saw them as a command from the Lord that we should no longer obey and continue on with Christ’s literal command in Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the END of the age.” Amen.” This is spoken in command form as well: Matthew 9:38, “Therefore PRAY the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Also spoken by Jesus in command form: Luke 19:13, “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them,DO business till I come.’”. In Luke 18, Jesus tells us to pray and not give up. I can’t find anywhere in the Word that just because of 2 Thess 2:1-3 that we are to give up on people and stop praying etc. I pray you are still actively occupying for Jesus and praying for the lost and ministering to the lost according to His command. Yes many are clearly departing from God but Thess is not a command from God or a sign to stop fervently praying for the lost for revival and give up on what the Word of God commands elsewhere e.g. great commission. God bless, keep occupying until He comes.
