“Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up,” (Luke 18:1)
Nowhere in the Word do I see Jesus teach us that in the time preceding the rapture that we are to give up and forfeit ANY land, even one dot of it – spiritual or physical – to the wicked. But that’s precisely what many followers of Christ are actively doing and preaching it to their “followers.”
As one who desires to do it Christ’s way, I am occupying until He comes, and I was thankful and excited to read this post from pastor Steve Cioccolanti’s via Telegram, 12/6/2022…
“In case you thought it couldn’t happen…a petition is currently in the Supreme Court since 20 Oct 2022, which reads in part “This case uncovers a serious national security breach that is unique and is of first impression, and due to the serious nature of this case it involves the possible removal of a sitting President and Vice President of the United States along with members of the United States Congress…”

Don’t stop praying for the wicked to be brought to the justice they deserve. I also strongly believe when people see the wicked brought to justice that the Lord will use it to bring people to Him and it will glorify Him as well.
There’s a deception that it’s not scriptural to say, “I love my country. I love America and continue to pray for her and its people,” as if it must affect our loyalties to God and His kingdom. Poppycock! One can love their country and it not be idolatry. There are different forms of “love” in the Word of God (e.g. see original Greek meanings of in John 21:15-19 of the different meanings of “love”).
The Lord allowed me to be born in the U.S.A, therefore, I desire to be a good steward and pray for her and its people. I will continue to pray into the situation regarding the petition above according to verses like Psalm 59:10, “My God of mercy shall come to meet me; God shall let me see my desire on my enemies.” Any enemy of children and the unborn (e.g. abortion/child sacrifice agendas) is my enemy!

Give NO Regard to the Escapist, Fatalist, Prayerless, Passive Christian Reports Cursing the United States from Their Lips
Many are feverishly date setting the rapture which is 100% unscriptural and a waste of precious time that should be used obeying the Great Commission (Matthew 24:36; Matthew 28:16-20). I believe this desire to prove to others that they think they know the date of the rapture is rooted in pride. What are they trying to prove with rapture date setting when Jesus Himself said, “But of that day and hour no one knows.”
Date setting leads to escapist mentality and passivity. From their own mouths they say over and over: We are getting out of here any moment now. We are escaping soon and that’s ALL they preach: escaping with Jesus at any moment now.
Glory to God for the pre-tribulation rapture BUT, we’ve got lots of work to do to make sure as many escape with us as possible, to set captives free UP UNTIL the moment we are taken up. Jesus cares about every second someone is suffering and oppressed by the devil (Acts 10:38), and He made it our responsibility to “bring the kingdom of God near to them,” (Luke 10:11).
Jesus taught us to “Occupy [do business] until He comes,” (Luke 19:13). Let’s do what Jesus says.
Believing one is escaping any moment leads many to become prayerless and passive (e.g. not bothering to share Christ, heal the sick, cast out demons, and participate in society like voting, standing up for the unborn, etc.). THIS IS A TRAP OF THE ENEMY to gain more spiritual and physical territory and take as many people to hell with him as possible (working through the wicked that many Christians refuse to stand up to like David).
Sadly, I hear or read some of the same followers of Christ cursing America from their own lips saying, “God is done with America! There’s no hope for her.” This too in unscriptural. When they say things like this, they are cursing the land. I see nowhere in the Word that we give up praying before Christ comes or curse the land we live on from our mouths for “life and death are in the power of the tongue.”
Luke 18:7-8 Jesus taught through a parable and said, “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
The land of America was dedicated to the Lord in 1607 for the purpose spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ…and I will continue to pray for my country that I love for the sake of its people, and of course all its innocent children, until He returns.
Yes, America has drifted VERY far from the Lord, BUT that is precisely why we do not cease to cry out for this land and people more fervently than ever and for its precious children. I don’t have peace with prayerlessness and forfeiting to evil.
Lamentations 2:19
“Arise, cry out in the night,
At the beginning of the watches;
Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him
For the life of your young children.
Keep doing the Lord’s business until He comes!
