It grieves me deeply when I see God’s own children speaking anything that minimizes Christ’s healing and the brutality that Jesus endured to pay for it FOR us in full. Healing from sickness is 100% included in His atonement [finished work].

OPINIONS like the one in the graphic above that a child of God with MANY followers recently shared are unscriptural, harmful, and careless with not only how His Word is being handled but towards those who are suffering with sicknesses in their body or their children’s.

Why pit salvation and healing against one another in even the slightest way? Christ’s healing is NOT in competition with Christ’s Salvation. They are BOTH included as a FREE gift for ALL in His atonement…for it is written…

Surely He has borne our [a]griefs [sicknesses in original Hebrew]
And carried our [b]sorrows [pains in original Hebrew];
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all,” (Isaiah 53:4-6).

The enemy twists the Word of God, masquerading as an angel of light so what people, say, even God’s own people, “sounds” good and “righteous” to the ears of man, BUT are actually unscriptural and lead people astray. For it is written…

“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand,” (Mark 3:24).

And healing, a FREE gift from God, part of the atonement of Jesus Christ, is NOT part of the prosperity gospel. That false doctrine is from the darkest pits of hell and is a direct attack on Jesus Christ, the Word, who was maimed beyond recognition to atone for all sin and heal all our sicknesses.

Strong’s 3148 mástiks, original Greek meaning. This one Greek word means disease, plague, scourge, oppressive pain and suffering as from an acute disorder, literally whipping to afflict with pain.

“They will scourge [whip] Him and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again,” (Luke 18:33).

“Who Himself [Jesus] bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed,” (1 Peter 2:24).

Jesus was whipped/scourged with stripes during the atonement to heal us from disease, disorders, pain, suffering, oppression in our physical bodies. How anyone can minimize what our Lord did and lump it into the prosperity gospel can only be from demonic deception by religious/deceiving demonic spirits.

Healing and salvation are not in competition with one another. They are of the same work of Christ that He cares equally about.

Acts 10:38

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

1 John 3:8

He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

The PURPOSE of Jesus coming to the earth was to destroy the works of the devil – that is defined as sin (of the devil) and everything that entered the earth because of sin, thus also sickness.

Many sicknesses are caused by demonic spirits! You can know that you know by the Word of God that Jesus cares A LOT about getting those demons off of people.

Let the Word alone be a lamp unto your feet, a light unto your path. Hallelujah!
