“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine,” (Psalm 33:18-19).
For some time, I’ve been seeing believers prophesying food shortages and both believers and unbelievers covering prepper topics on how to prepare for it. Food shortages intentionally caused by the wicked no less.
This could cause fear in many, but the Word of God is TRUE no matter what the wicked do.
Not everyone has the budget or ability to prep and/or store up a year’s worth of food. I can think of a few widows with fatherless children vaccine injured with autism who fall into that category. Widows who the mainstream church has failed many times over the years by refusing to do home visits to pray for them and their children because they were homebound and couldn’t attend church. Their reason in almost every case? “We don’t have anyone to do that.” These are the last of the last days indeed where the love of many has grown ice cold!
It’s time for every believer to know the Word of God for themselves and take Him for it by FAITH, unshaken by what is seen!
These are just a few of many posts I’ve seen lately on the matter…

Prophesying what is written instead…Not magnifying the works of the evil one…
“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine,” (Psalm 33:18-19).
“They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied,” (Psalm 37:19).
“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil,” (1 Peter 3:12).
“But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil,” (Proverbs 1:33).
“Who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners. The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord raises those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous. The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked He turns upside down,” (Psalm 146:7-9).
Prophesying regarding the wicked in the earth seeking our destruction…
“But You, O God, shall bring them down to the pit of destruction; Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; But I will trust in You,” (Psalm 55:23).
“They have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down; They have dug a pit before me; Into the midst of it they themselves have fallen. Selah,” (Psalm 57:6).
“But they [the wicked] lie in wait for their own blood, they lurk secretly for their own lives. So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain; It takes away the life of its owners,” (Proverbs 1:18-19).
1 Kings 17:8-16 – Supernatural Provision for Widow, her son, and Elijah the Prophet
8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a cup, that I may drink.” 11 And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.”
12 So she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.”
13 And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son. 14 For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.’ ”
15 So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. 16 The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah.
