“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being,” (Genesis 2:7).

Even before I knew the Lord, I strongly believed food was intended to be like medicine and health to our bodies. I came from a family on my mothers side with four practitioners of natural medicine, so I leaned strongly towards finding natural ways to improve health.

I obtained my degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition in 1997. Though, I don’t agree with everything I learned through it – too broad and focused on macronutrients – I did learn a lot about the effects of vitamin deficiencies on health.

Fast forward to 2002 when I got born again…over these past twenty years of walking with the Lord by the Word and Spirit, He’s often used the practical, science to confirm His Word and clear His namesake from being falsely accused for the rampant sickness we see in the earth. Of course, these lies are inspired by the evil one made easy to pull off by man’s unwillingness to know Him through His Word, Holy Spirit, and to search out matters with His help regarding the circumstances in their lives.

Therefore, it’s easier for those with a very small view of God, lacking in the truth of His Word, to simply point their finger at Him when they or their children get sick.

For example, one I have seen too many times to count is when a woman or her husband posts on social media how she/his wife recently miscarried and that God in His sovereignty chose to take their baby from them. Sometimes with an additional comment that it must be “to teach them some lesson.” I always pray for them and never comment as obviously it’s not the right time to try to use scripture to redirect them to the real cause of the miscarriage. But it always grieves me how many people comment in agreement that basically the Lord had some wonderful reason and purpose for killing off their baby.

We are not called to walk by the reasonings, explanations, and doctrines of man, we are called to walk by the Word of God. For it is written in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I [Jesus] have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

“Let God be true and every man a liar,” (Romans 3:4).

Then even more grievously, they or someone else goes on to quote verses from the book of Job to elaborate and continue to accuse God of taking their baby. Meaning they believe that Jesus made absolutely no difference through His finished work of the cross, His shed blood, His broken body, His stripes, His death, and resurrection, and in our covenant standing in Christ as compared to ole Job’s.

For it is written in Colossians 1:13, “He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.”

And in Hebrews 8:6, “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.”

As a fact, any new covenant believer who compares themselves to Job who didn’t have Jesus to translate him from the dominion (control) of darkness and into the kingdom of God is perishing for lack of knowledge of His Word.

This is EXACTLY how the thief is able to deceive and steal kill and destroy His very elect: their massive ignorance of the Word of God, their covenant standing in Christ, that Jesus snatched them from the dominion/control of satan, and transferred them not only into His kingdom but to be a part of His Body.

Satan loves when people, especially His children, attribute the wickedness and destruction of man (as inspired by that liar) to the earth to the Lord. It’s NOT God’s will for His children to stay ignorant of His Word and refuse to surrender to His Holy Spirit as their Teacher.

Many women learn that their miscarriages are caused by hormonal imbalances, and once they take care of it, they are able to conceive and carry their baby to term and healthy. And what causes hormonal imbalances in women?

Women today and over the past century really, slather all sorts of toxic chemicals onto their skin via makeup, skin creams, most stored in plastic bottles. What we put on our skin goes directly into our bloodstream, affects health, liver health, etc. Nutrient deficient, food soaking in plastic wraps and bags, then eaten and on and on and on. And this is just a teeny, tiny picture of the death and destruction man has brought to the earth in how they process food, release toxic chemicals into our it, our water, the air, etc.

Why? Profit over people, the sin and wickedness of greed.

It is not God’s will nor His doing nor inspiration for man to destroy His creation and His divine order and way of doing things – growing food, raising animals, soil care, etc. Documentaries like Food, Inc. expose the wickedness and greed of man causing rampant sickness in the earth. And in this post, I am not even getting into the damages vaccines have caused to humans, the destruction of their immune systems, their DNA, etc. Evidence that proves John 10:10 to be true amongst many verses.

Now, let’s look at man’s responsibility in the matter through His Holy Word, His truth that sets free…

“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth,” (Genesis 1:26).

“What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,” (Psalm 8:4-6)

“The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men,” (Psalm 115:16).

So, yes the Lord OWNS the entire universe, but concerning the earth, He appointed US to manage it for a season, to have dominion [rulership; sovereign control] over ALL the earth and ALL that it is in it. The Word says He GAVE it to us.

Therefore, it is our responsibility to care for it well, to grow our food, and tend our animals His way, but the Word says MOST of the world rejects His ways and His will and chooses instead the path that leads to destruction (Matt 7:13-14). As mankind, we have failed miserably at tending and managing the earth He entrusted into our hands. Evil men who lust after money and put their pockets over people are growing most of the world’s food.

We don’t get to point our finger at the destruction man has caused in the earth at the Lord. Destruction that is causing so much sickness and disease. If man chooses against His will and sows destruction, he reaps destruction.

I watched a wonderful video by Dr. Berg today that touched on the link between the destruction of trace minerals (by man, not God’s will) and its link to cancer.

Dr. Berg from this video, “So you need trace minerals to make amino acids which then help turn into proteins which are basically just a long chain of different amino acids. And when you’re missing certain trace minerals devastating things can happen to your body.

Much like missing a trace mineral in the SOIL will have devastating effects on the plants as well as devastating effects on the animals that eat the plant. And on top of that devastating effects on humans eating animals that are deficient in certain trace minerals.“

Another quote from Dr. Berg regarding the book, “It’s a fascinating study regarding missing trace minerals in the SOIL and that affects the plant and the animals and humans. Because the foundation of our health actually starts in the SOIL. If there’s something missing in the SOIL, which there is, how can you create food and animals that feed us that turn into health. You can’t. These trace minerals are vitally important because it’s at the heart of enzymes and making vitamins like B12. And it’s at the heart of making antioxidants. And even phytonutrients.”

While watching this video by Dr. Berg, the Holy Spirit gave me this verse, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being,” (Genesis 2:7). It’s just like the Lord to show me that He made us from the dust of the ground (soil), and it’s important for us to take care of it, so we can have everything we need to keep our bodies (made from said soil) healthy. His Word and Spirit are amazing. Best teacher every, always!
