SWORD & SPIRIT WRITER

Praise our wonderful Father for giving us the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God to destroy the works of the devil that come against us in this world for we wage NOT against flesh and blood. (See Ephesians 6).

We can pray the Word which IS Jesus (See John 1) to release His will and power into our lives, including to our body and souls. Hallelujah!

Praying the Word for Anxiety and the Mind

• Abba Father, I am anxious for nothing and simply pray about everything with thanksgiving, letting my requests be made known to You, knowing You shall supply all my needs according to Your [endless supply of] riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6 & 19)
• Abba Father, I am Your precious covenant child, and I fear not, for You are with me; I am not dismayed, for You are my God. You will strengthen me, help me, and uphold me with Your righteous right hand that is not too short to save me. (Isaiah 41:10; Numbers 11:23).
• Abba Father, I live in the place of rest with You because even to my old age, You will carry me, even to my gray hairs. You have made, and You will bear; Even You will carry and deliver me. (Hebrews 4:10; Isaiah 46:4)
• Abba Father, You have not given me a spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. I continually renew my mind with the Word of God, so I am not conformed to the world’s way of thinking, and have the mind of Christ instead. (2 Timothy 1:7; Romans 12:2; 1 Corinthians 2:16)

These are just a few of the many Word weapons (Ephesians 6) we can use to enter His rest and peace as well as destroy anxiety, anxious thoughts, and attacks on the mind through the power of the Word. By magnifying His Word instead of our circumstances, they become like puny, defeated foes in our sight. Glory to God!

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith,” (1 John 5:4). You are called to victory over anxiety and attacks on the mind. Thank You, Jesus!
