Have eyes to see we are in a time of war – great spiritual warfare, good vs. evil – therefore, we must pray accordingly and have a stomach for due justice for the wicked.
For a just God to allow wicked, bloodthirsty men to get away with their crimes forever would make Him unjust as well us unmerciful towards the innocent and oppressed crying out to Him day and night.
Earthly justice is not eternal damnation and is something God brings to pass when the righteous pray for justice.
Of course, God’s Word defines and clearly describes what a wicked man or woman looks like, so we when we see one (or a great many as is today), then we know when we need to change our prayer and spiritual warfare strategies.
Let’s see how the Lord defines and describes the wicked, so we know how to pray and as well as praise Him that He will deal with them when we cry out to Him according to His Word:
The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor;
Let them be caught in the plots which they have devised. ~ Psalm 10:2
A wicked person is prideful and persecutes the poor. We can see this with polititians today whose only motivation is greed and power, who lie to keep people chained and dependent upon their meager “benefits” in exchange for votes.
How we can pray when we see such as these?…
Father, let them be caught in the plots which they have devised in Jesus’ name, amen.
Sadly, I’ve seen a great many Christians who’ve hardened their hearts towards the victims of the wicked and refuse to pray for justice which is MERCY for the oppressed.
Some also unscripturally quote Jesus when He was on the cross and say, “Forgive them for they know not what they do,” and apply it to every wicked thing people do and forever leave it at that and never cry out for the poor, needy, oppressed, and those who need justice.
Jesus said these Words referring to the Jews who didn’t know they had cruficied their Messiah, NOT that every evil the wicked commit is done because they “know not what they do,” in fact the Word says the wicked PLAN and PLOT their evil ways and schemes in advance and lie in wait for the innocent.
Lord God, give Your people eyes to see it’s innappropriate to say, “Forgive them for they know not what they do,” and turn it into a doctrine that applies to all evil deeds, rendering Your people prayerless and passive in both praying for and doing justice for the oppressed.
As if the wicked do not know they are murdering an unborn baby when they slaughter it through abortion and have their meetings at abortion centers marketing their evil to women and calling it healthcare, women’s rights, etc. and on and on and on.
Psalm 10:3-18
3 For the wicked boasts of his heart’s desire;
He blesses the greedy and renounces the Lord.
4 The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God;
God is in none of his thoughts.
5 His ways are always prospering;
Your judgments are far above, out of his sight;
As for all his enemies, he sneers at them.
6 He has said in his heart, “I shall not be moved;
I shall never be in adversity.”
7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression;
Under his tongue is trouble and iniquity.
8 He sits in the lurking places of the villages;
In the secret places he murders the innocent;
His eyes are secretly fixed on the helpless.
9 He lies in wait secretly, as a lion in his den;
He lies in wait to catch the poor;
He catches the poor when he draws him into his net.
10 So he crouches, he lies low,
That the helpless may fall by his strength.
11 He has said in his heart,
“God has forgotten;
He hides His face;
He will never see.”
12 Arise, O Lord!
O God, lift up Your hand!
Do not forget the humble.
13 Why do the wicked renounce God?
He has said in his heart,
“You will not require an account.”
14 But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief,
To repay it by Your hand.
The helpless commits himself to You;
You are the helper of the fatherless.
15 Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man;
Seek out his wickedness until You find none.
16 The Lord is King forever and ever;
The nations have perished out of His land.
17 Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble;
You will prepare their heart;
You will cause Your ear to hear,
18 To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed,
That the man of the earth may oppress no more.
So thankful that God brings the wicked to justice for a great many bloodthirsty men and women are being used by satan to violently pursue our children with great evils and abominations! Thank You for Your MERCY towards the oppressed and those who need justice.
