In due season

Ever been pregnant with a creative idea (for a long time)? I sure have. The above book cover is for one I’ve been allowing to prayerfully grow and delvelop in my spirit for over two-and-a-half years.

As a Spirit-led Christian writer, I partner with the Lord in prayer as I create, and truly, He blesses me with words better than what I could come up with alone, apart from the Vine, self-reliant, instead of surrendered, connected, dependent upon Him.

He’s poured so much into me I can barely keep up (and honestly haven’t been able to). Been a rough season here with me and mine – but behold He does a new thing and has equipped me (and all of us) to overcome the world by faith in His Word.

Things have started to turn and shift. From my view in the valley, I’ve come far enough now where I can finally see the light darting on the horizon (from the mountain I am about to stand on). My “in due season” draws nigh because I refused to give up.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not,” (Galatians 6:9, KJV).

Too delectable a promise to not relish, so let’s…

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart,” (Galatians 6:9, NKJV).

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up,” (Galatians 6:9, NLT).

If you’re a writer for the Lord, first, do not give up. Second, I’d love to pray for you and the work of your hands. You can comment or use my Contact page on the Menu to request prayer.

Really excited about the things I’m currently prayerfully writing for the Lord. God bless you and yours.
