Um, pardon me, pastor, but, um, God says…

Surely He has borne our griefs [sicknesses, original Hebrew]
And carried our sorrows [pains, original Hebrew];
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed,” ~ Isaiah 53:4-5.

…and I’m gonna take Him, my good Father, who gave His Son, Jesus Christ, who is also the Word (John 1:1) for His Word instead. Thanks anyway, good-bye.

And He confirms His Word here, here, here, here, and etc. etc. etc.

“When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself TOOK our infirmities and bore our sicknesses,” ~ Matthew 8:16-17.

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of FAITH WILL save the sick, and the Lord WILL raise him up,” ~ James 5:14-15.

Uh oh! Looks like James 5:13-15 disqualifies 90% plus of the elders in today’s churches. His Word tells us who’s qualified to be an elder, not their bank accounts or how much they donate to the church.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,” ~ Psalm 103:2-3.

“He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions,” ~ Psalm 107:20

And who is the Word? Jesus (John 1:1). He sent His Word, Jesus, and healed them.

FACT! Jesus already healed us 2000 years ago, we receive what He already did – body broken and striped – for OUR physical healing.

He TOOK our infirmities FROM us and BORE our sicknesses FOR us.

“God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him,” ~ Acts 10:38.

Not a select few – ALL – He bore OUR sicknesses.

So why isn’t everyone healed? Here are some Word-based reasons.

Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. – Matt 13:58

The short answer is we must simply agree with His Word and take Him for it and receive healing by faith because of grace alone. God set up His kingdom to run BY faith through grace lest anyone boast in their own works and “goodness.”

How many does God say find the way which leads to LIFE and walk the narrow path with Him?

Only a FEW!

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are FEW who find it. – Matthew 7:13-14

This includes seeking Him in His Word and learning by the Spirit to rightly divide the Word regarding divine healing. Instead most just blindly accept whatever their pastors say instead of diligently seeking the Lord for themselves.

It’s not biblical to do this. We must test everything we are taught by man. A FEW explains why many are not healed because only the FEW are willing to FIND it. It takes effort and seeking the Lord DILIGENTLY.

No more spoon fed Christians! It’s hurting the church, our witness of Christ, His namesake, etc.

And what lights this narrow path of life with God?

Your Word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path. – Psalm 119:105

How can we fail or be deceived by satan regarding divine physical healing if we let His Word alone light our path?

Glory to God alone!

Also, we must not be double-minded and in unbelief, magnifying what is seen”giants in the land” (sickness; symptoms; doctors’ reports regarding said sickness) above the Word and revealed will of God: “By Jesus’ stripes, you WERE healed,” ~ 1 Peter 2:24.

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. – James 1:6-8.

Again, God set up His kingdom to run BY faith through grace lest anyone boast in their own works and “goodness.”

How can we say otherwise? Or other than what God Himself says about what Jesus did? He TOOK our sicknesses and bore our infirmities when allowed His body to be broken and striped to take our place.

And here’s an INCREDIBLE revelation I recently learned from a video. All based on the Word with another explanation as to why some get healed and many don’t.

With whom does Jesus share His spoils like physical healing with? Still in Isaiah 53 speaking of the atonement…

“Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,” ~ Isaiah 53:12.

And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen. – John 21:25.
