On Divine Healing

“Thus you have made the Word of God of no effect by your tradition,” (Matthew 15:6).

This quote by Curry Blake speaks great truth! In order to learn the truth that sets free about divine healing paid in full by Jesus Christ for ALL (Isaiah 53; 1 Peter 2:24), I had to UNLEARN everything I’d been taught in the church.

I got alone with God and His Word, fasted and prayed, and let the Spirit lead me into all truth as I prayerfully read and studied. The Lord Himself taught me and also led me to teachers of the Word rightly dividing it by the Spirit regarding healing.

Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day – Psalm 25:2.

The Word couldn’t be more clear, simple, and straightforward, yet many teachers of the Word in the church feed the sheep teachings that exalt themselves AGAINST the Word.

And who is the Word? Jesus (John 1:1), so they teach what exalts itself againt Jesus Himself. No small thing!

Surely He has borne our griefs [sickness in Hebrew]
And carried our sorrows [pains in Hebrew];
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed – Isaiah 53:4-5
.

SURELY, He has done what?

Carried OUR sicknesses and pains FOR US. Us as in ALL of us, not some mysterious few.

Let God be true and every man a liar!

By HIS stripes, we are healed.

We as in ALL who’ll receive it by faith.

Then in this verse…

By whose stripes YOU were healed – 1 Peter 2:24.

You, yes, you, WERE healed. Jesus went to the whipping post and cross. ALL His work is finished. He said it Himself: It is FINISHED!

We receive by faith, believing and not doubting, through grace alone what He already did! No need to plead and beg, He already willingly gave His body to be broken and striped for physical healing so you WERE healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24).

Glory to the Lamb who was slain for all! Hallelujah!
