“But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the will of God for themselves,” (Luke 7:30).
“Now Jesus did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief,” (Matthew 13:58).
God’s will had been revealed to them, they looked right at it, and chose to reject it for themselves, forfeiting receiving it, forfeiting and rejecting healing, etc.
