Recently, the Lord spoke to me so clearly that as brothers and sisters in Christ, the church, we are called to help each other THRIVE.
I haven’t really seen much of this truth in the church especially towards the widow and the fatherless, but instead of complaining about it, we should put faith into action and do something about it.
As a solo mom (sole provider, working mom), I don’t have much to give materially, so I asked the Lord how I can bless others and felt led to to share some of my skills, etc. on my channel to bless others, possibly help them earn extra money, etc. And of course share teachings the Lord has given to me through study of the scriptures. His Word is life and health and a blessing and sets captives free.
“Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all,” (Acts 4:32-33).
See how the Word works?
When His children made sure ALL were taken care of THEN they gave GREAT WITNESS to Jesus and His resurrection. What else? GREAT GRACE was upon them.
The church really needs lots of this right now.
