“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen,” (Hebrews 11:1).
In the recent past when meditating on Hebrews 11:1, I heard the Lord say, “Faith is a substance,” and I said, “Wow! Lord,” and He showed me how when true faith is released it can be seen as having a SUBSTANCE because of its foundation or what it stands on: His Word (which is SUBSTANTIAL).
So powerful, Lord! I love You, so much!
But I didn’t make this other absolutely beautiful and amazing revelatory connection by His Spirit until last night when I once again read and pondered Hebrews 11:1.
I pray you also see this post as a message on how much God loves you, child of God. Oh so much! How much He treasures you and cares about everything concerning you (which is why any lies that cause His children to be prayerless and believe it’s pointless to pray REALLY grieve me like in this post).
This is a beautiful and amazing revelation, the Lord showed me last night…
Our Abba Father can SEE our faith when it’s released.
Let me say it again because it’s so powerful, but for you…
God can see YOUR faith when you release it. In the spirit realm, He can see your faith mix with His Word and your prayers.
Your faith is a tangible and precious thing in God’s kingdom.
Oh Papa God, how You break me with Your beauty in the very best ways of course.
This is the verse He brought to my remembrance as He was showing me the additional way our faith is a substance…
“Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints,” (Revelations 5:8).
So precious to God that in the spirit realm our prayers take on the form of fragrant and beloved incense which He stores in golden bowls in heaven.
I can’t even, Lord. You can SEE our faith. *weeping*
I’ve never seen a Hebrews 11:1 – Revelations 5:8 connection before regarding the magnitude of our faith to God – how powerful, precious, and important our faith is to Him and of course our prayers.
His Word makes it clear faith is extremely important to Him, but this word opened it up for me on a whole other level. How tangible and real faith is in the kingdom of God and why He has SO much to say about faith. Glory to You, alone!
Honestly, faith is how His kingdom runs lest anyone boast.
“Let my prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice,” (Psalm 141:2). Very prophetic words David penned by inspiration.

Here are some verses about faith for life and health to you. To renew your mind with His Word, the truth…
“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith,” (Romans 1:17).
“This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith,” (1 John 5:4).
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him,” (Hebrews 11:6). IMPOSSIBLE! That one word says so much regarding His kingdom laws and ways regarding faith.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,” (Ephesians 2:8).
“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven,” (James 5:15).
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord,” (James 1:5-7).
On the surface verse 7 of James 1:5-7 may seem harsh, but I believe He purposely set up His kingdom laws this way – to run on faith – so no one could boast in their works but in Jesus instead who finished the work of the Father.
Answers to prayer are not earned but all by grace through faith. What a Good Father!
And His Word is the provision He made available for all His children to have great mountain moving faith and to crush unbelief:
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God,” (Romans 10:17).
Child of God, your faith is a SUBSTANTIAL and precious substance to God. I pray this post inspires your prayer life for every prayer is precious to God. He cares about everything concerning you.
