Of course, I’m talking about SIN. Why? First, because God hates sin, and we are to hate what God hates.

“You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of His saints;
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked,” (Psalm 97:10).

“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverse mouth I hate,” (Proverbs 8:13).

Second, the original sin was THE door that opened and unleashed every form of death and destruction into the earth – sickness (physical and spiritual infirmities), murder, sins against children and the unborn, corruption and decay, evil, hatred, a way for the devil and demons to work and operate in the earth, etc.

^“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For THIS purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might DESTROY the works of the devil,” (1 John 3:8).

An important aside on this second point is needed. I get DEEPLY grieved when I hear people saying their sickness is a blessing or God made them or their child sick. Lie from the pit of hell!!!

This is a religious mindset (like that of the Pharisees that Jesus constantly rebuked) which wrongly conveys that God requires them to serve some sort of penance of sickness because their righteousness in Him is somehow not enough.

Lord Jesus, that Your people RUN AS FAST AS THEY CAN from churches teaching them these lies about sickness. Sickness You willingly offered Yourself up for and paid for in full FOR them.

And some sickness is literally caused by demons. Commons sense: Sickness. Is. Not. A. Blessing.

Hold me back, Lord! Hold me back! Help me keep it kind. We don’t praise and glorify sickness. We glorify Jesus who ransomed His body FOR us to heal us from it.

We’ve already shined the truth of His Word about this in the verses above. The Word is clear: Sickness entered the world because of SIN, ALL sin is of the devil, and Jesus came to DESTROY the works of the devil.

We can then validly say using 1 John 3:8 once again, “For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy sickness because it’s a work of the devil.”

His Word makes the author of sickness and the Author of healing clear:

“The thief [the devil] does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I [Jesus] have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly,” (John 10:10).

Back to hating the heck out of sin and everything that came into the earth because of it…

I was praying this prayer and talking to the Lord and found myself FUMING at the devil and the evil works which abound more than ever. Then, I got a strong sense in my spirit about how ANGRY the Lord is about the enemy using these COVID vaccines to steal, kill, and destroy people – people He considers to be His image bearers. Though, those who’ve taken them are seen as foolish by Him, He’s more angry at the devil about it than anyone.

Next, He reminded me of a book I read months ago, Vessels of Fire & Glory by Mario Murillo. I could literally see the page flash in my mind, and I knew exactly where to search and find it by His Spirit. Glory to God!

This is what He wanted to me see and talk with Him about some more…

I’m so humbled and in tears over this word I writing for you now in obedience to the Lord because lately, the Holy Spirit has been ministering to me on this subject SO strongly.

One April 23, 2021, I posted, I’m going up fighting, Lord, after the Lord had been mistering it to my heart. We are NOT to give up on the sick, lost, etc. just because Jesus is coming soon! Messages like those are not of God, not of His heart, love, character, mercy, and compassion, and not in line with “Occupy until I come,” (Luke 19:13).

The Lord is calling you to offer yourself up as a living sacrifice – okay that power of God (manifest glory) just hit me when I typed that – so that You are overcome with His love and compassion for the sick and those captive by satan in sin, etc. So that you also have a holy rage for the works of the devil just as Jesus does.

That like Him, you burn to see those works destroyed in people’s lives and bodies for the saving and setting free of the lost and those bound by infirmities (physical and spiritual).

I believe He’s raising up an army of believers who’ll take Him for His Word in simple, childlike faith, who love like Him AND hate, even utterly despise sin and every work of the devil in the earth, and who burn with His mercy, love, and compassion towards the sick, prematurely dying, and captive (by sin, sickness, drugs, additions, demons), etc.

P.S. Not hate and destroy people of course, but the WORKS of the devil through ministering the truth of His Word to others and spiritual warfare (prayer).
