“Meet Me Half Way” by Kenny Loggins made me think of the rapture and being with Jesus *ugly cried*

This is a secular song. One of my favorites because it reminds me of the rapture and being with Jesus. I only capitalized Me and Love to reflect Jesus to show how it inspired me.

“Meet Me Half Way” sung by Kenny Loggins, from the Soundtrack, “Over the Top.”

In a lifetime
Made of memories
I believe
In destiny

Every moment returns again in time
When I’ve got the future on my mind
Know that you’ll be the only one

Meet Me halfway
Across the sky
Out where the world belongs
To only you and I

Meet Me halfway
Across the sky
Make this a new beginning of another life.

In a lifetime
There is only Love
Reaching for the lonely one

We are stronger when we are given Love
When we put emotions on the line
Know that we are the timeless ones

Meet Me halfway
Across the sky
Out where the world belongs
To only you and I

Meet Me halfway
Across the sky
Make this a new beginning of another life.

[Instrumental interlude]

Meet Me halfway
Across the sky
Out where the world belongs
To only you and I

Meet Me halfway
Across the sky
Make this a new beginning of another life.

Writer(s): Tom Whitlock, Giorgio Moroder

Jesus: “Meet Me halfway across the sky out where the world belongs to you and I. Meet Me halfway across the sky. Make this a new beginning of another life.”

His children: We “know that we are the timeless ones.”

John 6:47 – Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.

Philippians 3:20-21 – For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 – Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

Outside of Worship music, my favorite music is from the 80s, then 70s, then 90s.

God bless.

    1. I’m sure we’re not alone. 😀 I was moved to tears. God has used many songs to speak to me that weren’t intended to be Christian. God bless and thanks for commenting.
