“For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake,” (Romans 13:3-5).
A Prayer
Father, grace President Trump with the strength to carry out the needed justice in America for the wicked who’ve exalted themselves in the land and are trying to steal this election. Because he is a “ruler” and an arm of the law according to our constitution (which is why he can grant pardons, etc.), empower him by Your Spirit to be an avenger to execute Your wrath upon these wicked, traitorous ones – each one punished suitably and severely as necessary according to the law.
For this is Your Word and will. Let it be so, Lord. Make a way for all voter fraud, everyone tied to it, and corruption in government to all be exposed, so ALL involved can come to know this needed wrath in Jesus’ name, amen.
To clarify this “wrath” is not the wrath of God that was satisfied on Jesus’ body on the cross for sin. This wrath is regarding punishment for crimes committed that are against the law. For obviously without laws that set boundaries, there would be anarchy and lawlessness, and nothing holding back the citizens of a nation from doing every wrong. God’s will is that this form of punishment is necessary under governments, and he uses earthly vessels to bring them about.
