“Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands,” (1 Samuel 17:45-47).
God called David a man after His own heart (1 Sam 13:14). To those who don’t have an intimate relationship with the Lord, David’s words in 1 Sam 17:45-47 may seem arrogant. Oh, but they are so very far from arrogant, presumptuous, even overly confident.
Before the “battle” even began, David told Goliath exactly what he’d do to him in the name of the Lord. Why? Because He knew God’s heart and character AND that He was in covenant with Him as a child of Israel.
Today, as New Covenant believers, we are at a far greater advantage than David to know the Lord, His heart, and character. For we live under a new and better covenant with new and better promises purchased by the very blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. We have the entire inspired Word of God at our fingertips available to us at any moment. And as born again believers, we are indwelt with His Holy Spirit. What more to we need to be people of great faith?
So, how can any of His children say they don’t know God’s will regarding the elections?
We know God’s will by knowing Him, His Word, and character AND that we are His covenant people. We are in a more powerful covenant with God than David – one sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we too can declare to the powers of darkness what the Lord will do to them on our behalf for defying the armies of the living God. David was not perfect, not sinless, and didn’t even have the blood of Jesus to make him the very righteousness of God.
We are at greater advantage to declare with the GREATEST boldness sure victories over our enemies in the name of the Lord.
But first, let’s look at an obvious example of wickedness versus God’s will:
Is abortion, the slaughtering of the innocent unborn babies created in His image, God’s will? Absolutely not! And never for any reason.
YET, millions upon millions of babies have been murdered by their own mothers just for being conceived. The Word says the the shedding of innocent blood is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord, so therefore, not, NOR EVER His will.
God is Almighty, and there are exactly zero reasons why He needs even one baby to be murdered by his/her mother in order to accomplish His will and purposes in the earth.
Translation to this example: God’s will does not always happen in the earth because man’s free will chooses to give place to the devil instead (Ephesians 4:27).
Now, we apply this example to voter and election fraud and all the corruption and wickedness tied to trying to steal an election.
These things are theft, injustice, lawlessness, lies, and even oppression of WE THE PEOPLE of the United States of America. In summary, they are ALL works of the devil for the Lord is NOT unjust, lawless, oppressive, or a lover of lying and theft. Never!
So, we simply look to His Word to know His will and join our faith with His will, and the Word says, “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil,” (1 John 3:8).
God’s will is simple regarding the elections: To destroy and any all things that are works of the devil.
As His covenant children, we join our faith with His will and ask according to it, as the Word says, “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him,” (1 John 5:14-15).
Because David knew his Lord, he declared in 1 Samuel 17:37, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.”
Let’s pray this prophetic prayer of faith in agreement:
Father, once again, we join our faith with Your will that it be done on earth as it is in heaven: That every work of the devil regarding the elections be exposed, destroyed, and brought to justice, so the legal winner of the election, President Donald J. Trump, is reelected exactly as Your eyes see it, Lord God.
Lord, we know You are a just God and that we are Your blood-bought covenant people, Your ecclesia with legislative and governing authority in the earth in Your name. For that we greatly praise You!
So we declare, in the name of Jesus: For who are these wicked, corrupt thieves and tyrants that they dare defy, oppress, and mock Your covenant people by trying to steal the election? The Lord, who is just, hates evil, and is in covenant with us will deliver us from the hands of those trying to hijack the United States of America for the enemy and bring them to swift justice. He will cause them to be trapped by EVERY trap intended for us and utterly cast down and made to be ashamed.
In the name of Jesus, we (prophetically) swing our slings with our smooth, supernatural stone at the head of this demonic, wicked “Goliath” that’s exalted itself in the land and arrogantly believers its size and wealth are powerful and undefeatable.
In the name of Jesus, we sling it at the “head of Goliath” right now and strike every principality and power of darkness behind “him” dead. We pull out the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and “cut off his head” so all the world may know that You are the Lord God Almighty.
According to Psalm 97:10, “You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked,” we take You for Your Word and will in this and receive it by faith for the elections and the fate of America in Jesus’ name, amen.
Every “WILL” David declared was a declaration of humility not arrogance or presumption
If you read the lead verses above, 1 Samuel 17:45-47, as well as 1 Samuel 17:37, David had no problem using “will” regarding the Lord’s hand and help for him against Goliath.
Every “will” was not arrogant nor presumptuous in the eyes of the Lord. No, I say with tears, they blessed the heart of the Lord. He was like, “FINALLY, someone who gets Me. Now, young David, let’s get to work and get this giant defeated for My people. Oh, My mighty warrior, David, a man after My own heart. A man fit to be a king.”
In fact, the Lord saw every “will” David uttered as a the greatest form of humility. For he humbled himself as a little child under the hand of the Lord and cast himself ENTIRELY onto the loving Father heart of the Lord, His character, and covenant.
Nothing in David was arrogant for he placed the entire weight and victory of the battle into the hands of the Lord he knew so well. For the Lord to GIVE him the victory. His faith moved God.
The GREATEST faith in the eyes of the Lord is “simply take Him for His Word” child-like faith. Hallelujah!
“Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven,” (Matthew 18:2-4).
Let’s have faith and a warrior spirit and “slay” every giant in the land in Jesus’ name.
If you joined your faith with mine and the will of the Lord, please comment and let the Lord know you agree with Him. God bless you and yours.
