“This Day We Fight: Breaking the Bondage of a Passive Spirit” a book by Francis Frangipane | A NOW Need for Today’s Church

I was talking to the Lord these past few days with great sadness at how much of the church has passively complied with every tyrannical order by their governors and mayors. And I asked Him, “Lord, where are the mighty men and women of valor?” But with more emphasis on the men remembering the Revolutionary War of 1776 and the Civil War of the 1860s.

As men are called as the protective coverings of families, yet I see church leaders, men, cowering and bowing to the tyranny in this land by congratulating a wicked man who has anointed himself “king” through illegal means. Thus, they are leading the people who they shepherd to agree with lawlessness, evil, and darkness. Their limp-wristed, do nothing cowardice is not of God.

In my city, we have multiple exemptions to the mask mandates, including a religious freedom one, yet 99.8% of the people continue to wear their masks obediently. My family read ordinance to know the facts and exercised our freedom to not wear them. There was also a lawsuit in our city that helped sway the elected officials to include more exemptions.

God’s people sue your cities! Join forces and rise up. Don’t just sit down and shut up.

But what’s going on in our country is far greater than the “mask test” to see how easily they could get people to obey their severe overreaches against our freedoms by mandating “medical devices” against the will of WE THE PEOPLE.

This is not just a spiritual battle. We are in a great war – both spiritually and in the natural. There are traitors within our borders who’ve prostituted themselves and have put their pockets over people. And they will step on our necks to rise in power and wealth without batting an eyelash.

A HUGE problem in the church is naiveté towards the depths of wickedness man is capable of and its passivity in this allows evil to prosper.

We must pray appropriate prayers and become warriors like David who will not bow to evil but will confront it and boldly.

This is what the Lord said about the wickedness in the hearts of man right before the flood in Noah’s day:

“Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually,” (Genesis 6:5).

And in the last of the last days before Christ returns, the Lord says, once again the condition of man will be likewise:

“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all,” (Luke 17:26-27).

The description for the book that inspired this post reads:

“Author Francis Frangipane tells us that the call of God is a call to war. An enemy lurks at our gates, and one of his first lines of attack is often a spirit of heaviness, which causes Christians to become passive. As a result, they do not pray with authority against the enemy, rendering themselves defenseless in the unfolding battle.

Backed by experience and delivered with passion, Frangipane’s timeless message equips believers to receive a fresh anointing from the Holy Spirit–an anointing that will activate the “war mode” in their hearts. We stand at the cusp of a major spiritual awakening in our land, and this is no time for surrender. No, this day we fight!”

As its subtitle mentions, “Breaking the Bondage of a Passive Spirit,” is a right now need for the church.

My heart of course is to point people to God and His Word and not man. But, I do love books written by believers who’ve received revelation on the Word and to inspire a word to teach us. Having said that, I personally use Christian books to learn then take what they taught me and search the scriptures and pray to be sure what they are teaching me is of God and approved by Him. I just ordered the book and will try to add a review later.

Jesus is not just the Lamb of God. He’s the Lion of Judah, and His Spirit lives in us.

So, I pray the Lord sets His people on fire by the Spirit to rise up and fight like the Lion of Judah this spiritual war we are in offensively and with the appropriate, not always nice, prayers needed when up against pure evil. And to put our faith into action by doing our part in the natural, refusing and confronting tyranny, and calling evil, evil as we clearly see it.

We don’t comply with election and voter fraud. It should be absolutely unthinkable to every American in this Constitutional Republic, including every Christ follower. It should also be UNTHINKABLE for any believer to think a president via election fraud is His will. He’s calling us to battle in the face of this. Not passivity. God’s will for us is to destroy the works of the devil in His name. Not greet them, smile at them, and give them warm hugs.

Forget that “be nice” garbage which is unbiblical in the face of wicked men and women who seek to destroy us and our children.

Lord, let Your Word be a Lamb unto out feet in precisely how to organize and deal with the evil in our times and in our nation in Jesus’ name, amen.
