“But the righteous are bold as a lion,” (Proverbs 28:1).
This is the dream I’d just had when I woke up at 6:25AM on November 16, 2020:
I was with friends (not sure which ones) walking down a wide street. We see three lions running our way.
Instead of fearing, when the lion came running at me, I prayed:
“I take authority and dominion over you in the name of Jesus.”
And like when I tell my dog to sit. I snapped my fingers and pointed down and told it to sit. And it did so obediently.
None of the lions harmed us.
I stared in awe as the lion obeyed me in Jesus’ name, and in Peter-like fashion, I said to my friends, “Did you see that? When I used my authority in Jesus’ name, the lion sat for me like a dog.”
Then I woke up.
The Lord is calling His children, the church, to take their rightful places in His Kingdom, to use their authority in Jesus’ name to destroy the works of the devil in the earth.
When the works of the devil are destroyed scales fall off eyes, hardness leaves hearts, so people are open to the gospel. The sick are healed and captives are set free.
Not a coincidence, the next chapter in Luke for me to read this morning was 9 where I read…
“He (Jesus) sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick,” (Luke 9:2).
“When the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him, “Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding towns and country, and lodge and get provisions; for we are in a deserted place here.” But He said to them, “You give them something to eat,” (Luke 9:12-13).
The Holy Spirit STRONGLY highlighted, “YOU give them something to eat,” in verse 13.
Child of God, YOU are as BOLD as a lion IN Christ, His name, and power.
This prophetic word below is tied to this dream and the “theme” the Lord has me on which is a word for His children now.

We can choose to follow Him OR fear man and follow the world. Each child of God gets to choose.
